Somebody at Ford really loved the Volkswagen Passat.. That's for sure.. Otherwise - what the hell were they thinking when they created that front fascia? What kind of grill is that? That's a really bad looking car. How is that going to sell?

What's up with the "FIVE HUNDRED" on the trunk lid? Let's just call it a Galaxy 500 and be done with it. Where are the round taillights and headlights they promised on the concept four years ago? Something doesn't look right about the front seats--too short in the leg to be comfortable to a tall man on a long trip.

I'm just getting warmed up...

i dunno, looks kind a "s-classy" from the rear. passat, definitly. hmmm, how about making it look as cool as its name suggests?

and will it retain the taurus v6?

hmm...maybe im wrong here, but does'nt toyota already make this car??? i think it's called the avolon (looks similar to me)

the tail looks nearly identical to the aussie ford falcon , and the falcon with that tail has been out for 2-3 years now i belive the rear door and window area is a bit off a VW ripoff(maybe a little crownvic in there too) ,too bad VW isnt sue happy like chrysler , who is now sueing a chinese company over a grill on a chinese crossover that sorta looks like the grill on a pacifica

For the segment that its in....I say it looks great and is a great all around package.......Jmays designed the Jetta Passat and other Audis if im not mistaken......this is his work too....He does great designes that are understated.

Does the 500 have a touch of mercedes also?

Car reminds me of a newer Mercedes, a Mitsubishi Lancer, a VW Passat, a newer Toyota Camry(tail lights).
