I just bought the E&G mesh grill w/acc. Has anyone installed a grill with acc?

We installed one on our STS4. It took maybe 2-3 hours at most. It was pretty straightforward.

I installed one w/out the ACC and it was a real pain. The fitment of these E&G grills are terrible....not even close to fitting correctly.
This will take you between 3-6 hours...depending on how picky you are about the fit.

I agree with Regulator. I had my E & G grill with acc installed by a high end body shop. They said it was a pain in the neck! The acc emblem did not fit into the round opening on the E & G grill. They had to sand the emblem for it to fit into the grill and there were alot of adjustments to be made on the whole installation. Unless you have a ton of patience have a good body shop install it. The good news is that my STS looks great! Hope this helps.

I had to have my OEM grill replaced shortly after I purchased my STS due to front end damage. I decided to get the E&G grill, since my insurance was paying for the repair--might as well take advantage of the opportunity.

Like others said, the body shop had a hell of a time trying to get it to fit right, and it still doesn't look perfect, even after several hours of work by professionals.

You have to use the badge from your stock grill.

Oh, I hope it comes off.
Got the grill on, took a good 2+ hours...like said above it was straight forward just how much time you want to take to get it perfect.

used a heat gun to get it off the old one and put it directly on the mesh like the STS-V. Done!

Also do you have anymore pictures of your car? I just bought mine two weeks ago and im getting the grill (in a week or so)and going to get the windows tinted.

There are a lot of kooks out there. I wouldn't put anything traceable out on the internet for people to exploit or have fun with. I don't suffer from paranoia, but rational minds can't relate to what some folks think is fun or exciting.

...I wouldn't put anything traceable out on the internet ...

So I should stop looking in all the phone books for a Mr. or Ms. Next Pool? Gee, and I thought that would be an easy one to find.
