My 2008 NAV system asks me every time I start the car if I need driving instructions. I have to wait and provide a yes/no type answer before the sytem quites down.
How do you turn this featrue off?

Just a thought...I have a 2006 and it has never done that.

Could that be part of the NAV TRAFFIC system?
May want to access the menu that pertains to the NAV TRAFFIC and see if there is a voice prompt.

Or if you have OnStar...maybe ask them.
Or as a last resort...call your service dept guy.
