Talking about the 6.0 engine! Thinking it is about time maybe to build a aluminum short block for my EXT, In changing just the short block you can keep all the other things and increase the torque. Let's talk and find out some ideas ? Please jump in! Donald

Iron blocks will inherently make more power due to the way they hold heat. Weather the percentage gain is enough to offset the weight of the block is questionable. If it were me, going through all that work, I would certainly put better flowing heads and a bigger cam in it.

What heads would you use/ Without going wild, RV Cam ? I need it to pass smog! Will or can you put a Corvette Intake on our motor and Bolt UP?
