Just finished a 3000 mile road trip.

Ft. Worth Tx to all over Colorado. :)

DTS was flawless. As usual. :cloud9:
MPG varied between 25.5..(best) and 21.4 (worst)
The 21.4 was on the last tank of gas, while heading home.
Wanted to get home...
Got a heavy foot and at least half of that tank was at 85/95 mph with an occasional 100 thrown in for good measure. :cool2:

Most of the time mileage was around 23 to 24.
This is the first time my mileage has ever varied very much.
On the road, it isually gets about 21.5 to 22...tank after tank, after tank.
May have something to do with me tuning the ECM and TCM.

Thanks Greg,

We love to go on trips, but are always glad to get back home. :cool2:

Read the link...
I probably need to look at one of the Big Lexus's also.
At least to give a fair comparison to my DTS and then make a decision.
I still love to "DRIVE" pretty spiritadly, and the DTS fits me pretty well...so far, but I have not compared it to the big Lexus.

Texas Jim,

Take a good look at the Hyundai Genesis while you're looking around. A friend traded his Deville in on one and swears that is the best move he ever made car-wise.

Tnabks Chris,

I do plan on doing that.
Brother in Law drove one a couple of weeks ago...just a test drive.
He called me, telling me how much he liked it. :stirpot:
