I just bought a 1967 Fleetwood brougham. Its fairly complete only missing the rear bumper and valance, and the side mirror. The interior is trashed. I am trying to set a budget to decide if i want to have it professionally restored. I would appreciate any comments regarding total cost. What would $5,000 buy? $10,000, $15,000.

Depends on the condition of the body, paint, and top, in addition to the interior. How are the mechanicals? Do all the options work, or are they at least intact? It's impossible to give a clear answer without more information, but I will guarantee that you will put more money into it than you will ever recover when you sell it.

If it needs a paint job, your looking at least at $5000.00 for a decent job,
plus your bumper installation,etc.,upholstery,countless other things will pop up,
not trying to discourage you but I think you could go through $15,000.00
