color matched...has been since about halfway thru 2004 model production (i.e. look for '04s w/ color match)

The rear bezel in my 03 was replaced today - the replacement is identical to the 2005 CTS-V sitting in the showroom. Beautiful!!

I explained to the dealer that each time the car was washed or after a rain, the backup lights would mist (fog) over on the inside. When I returned the next day, they had replaced both rear taillight assemblies by mistake. They apologized and ordered a new rear bezel assembly. All work was done under warranty at no cost to me. The vehicle has 35,XXX miles on the odometer. There was no resistance from the Cadillac store in replacing the part. It does look better than the grey bezel.

I have the smoke coloured bezel and think it looks better than the body coloured one. I hope that if I have to have it replaced, they can replace it with an identical one.

I don't think they make the grey ones anymore.
