After reading the info here on the above subject and looking at my FSM, I have the following question. If only hook up the audio (Pins e9,e10 e11) and not the video (don't need it) will the Nav system switch to AUX input when I push the DVD twice?

Thanks.

Bump. STS2003 would you have some advice on this? I know you are the master on these nav systems.

Thanks.

How much will it cost to buy your advice on how to properly hook it up?

i assume your the one who emailed me
didnt have to make it sound so rude to me
anyways its not that simple to connect audio wires and video you must wire in inline switch or relay so that when you turn your car on it activates the aux function, simply plugging in wires for the function does not tell the radio you have that feature online

I understand the relay or online switch is needed for pin f-16. Is it a 12v signal that is needed or ground Signal? Either way, which pin to you tap into on the harness to provide it?

Thanks.

Thanks I look forward to the info. I'm going to the wrecking yard afterwork tommorow to cut out a harness so I'll have plenty of wire with pins to work with. The place has several Caddies to choose from. I have left over proflex wire from home theater install jobs that I'll use for the RCA"s.

I finished the AUX input install today and it works fantastic. I would like to thank 02Lackey and N*Caddy for all of their information.

Sure,

I would be happy to tell you how I hooked it all up. How much info do you need? What I mean by that is do you need advice on how to remove the interior parts and the radio? How to do up the wire harness or do you just need advice on which pins to hook up? If you need info on everything, send me a PM with your phone number and I'll call you and talk you through it.
