I need to have a right front running lightbulb replaced and my dealer advises the front bumper will have to be removed to get at it! WTF?

GM engineers need to put a little more thought in areas like these. My 2002 DHS my only have halogen bulbs but I find them more than satisfactory and I can change them myself in about 10 minutes. Another reason I decided to keep the car instead of trading it in.
