Would these do or should I go OEM and use roof emblems. How does the 3M adhesive hold up?

Here's the OEM roof emblem.

What brand are they?

There are a few minor differences that would stand out to any Cadillac enthusiast. For one the wreath doesn't look as smooth as the factory one (it looks over detailed). For two, the bottom of the wreath, where the two sections come together and cross, is too long and skinny.

This is the OEM wreath:

From the picture it looks like they are these generic emblems sold for Ford, Chevrolet, Mercedes, Suzuki, and Chrysler vehicles that want to be Cadillac:

If you have the emblems in your possession, I would use them. If not I would go the junkyard and pull two C-pilar wreaths. They would be cheaper at the yard than eBay. If you take them from a rag top, just cut the studs off and then file them smooth to the rest of the emblem.

3M adhesive has worked for all of my needs, including gluing a chrome centerline to the hood (which had to be bolted on, from the factory, to the other hood). The only problem is that if you take the emblem off for any reason, the paint will come with it and there be ugly gobs of glue stuck the paint that stays.

I found a seller on eBay with OEM door lock emblems. I'll use 3M emblem plastic adhesive, will it work on the metal?

What's the width of a OEM door lock emblem? Because I found this one with the tape already added. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CADILLAC-WREATH-EMBLEM-OEM-3-5-8-WIDE-GENUINE-TAPE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3a2Q 7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1199Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksid Zp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem3353643e08QQitemZ22044 2410504QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccesso ries

I want an original look so I don't want to just settle for any size.

It will look nice on my all-black '94 FWB.

I'm sure they're stock but don't know if the 93-96 Fleetwoods came with those, I actually don't even know what the factory installed wheels are. I bought it from a man with a personal collection of 93-96 hearses, if that helps lol.

Are they the factory stocks or what would be the difference between them?

those would have been the wheel for a non brougham fleetwood
the brougham pkg gave you the wheels like on my gold fwb, pictured here, and the same brougham wheel was available in chrome, for extra$$
the 95 fleetwood I had that had that same roof, was a non brougham

Oh so I got the wrong wheels? Yeah the car used to have Vogue wheels and tires before they where changed to these. I'm guessing the previous owner didn't care about putting back on, the original wheels. I'm going to buy chrome wheels later on though.

The FWB never came with the door lock wreaths standard. It was usually a dealer add on which, IMO, looks tacky on these aerodynamic and sleek looking cars.

The only Cadillacs they really look good on are the '89-'93 DeVilles/FWD Fleetwoods.

Thats what I use, and all of my added emblems are metallic (and as stated earlier, some of the pieces were bolt-on and I got them glued on with plastic adhesive, and they're solid at highway speed). Also the "door lock emblems" are just hard-top C-pillar wreaths put around the front door locks; there is nothing different about them and (the ones I've seen) have the same serial/casting number as the ones from the C-pillar.

FleetwoodGuy, that's like a perfect clone of my car, except I don't have a license plate bracket, and you have the trim piece on the driver's side front bumper. Awesome.
