I recently put 22s on my new 08 STS and I was wondering, can I take the wheel tire pressure sensors in my factory wheels and put them the new ones with out a problem? I know some of you guys have 22s so I thought I'd ask, before I wasted my money.

It depends on the wheel, but for the most part they will work. If you have a multi-peice wheel you might have to buy a special mounting kit for the sensors. And don't be fooled by the dealership when it comes to re-programming the sensors. The procedure is in the owners manual and its pretty simple.

I have one piece 22s on my sts and i had the sensors put on with no problem. They are completely functional.

How did you get the sensors to reconize that there was a new setting for air pressure for you new wheels and tires? Because the recommended pressure rating wasn't the same when you changed them, right?
