5/1/09-The DTS isn't just comfortable — it's smart, too. Cadillac's largest car leads the Cost of Ownership index thanks to seriously low insurance, maintenance and repair costs. The current generation may be headed for the exit, but it's still a smart choice overall.

In my opinion, a factor for reasonable re-sale value, would enhance the appeal of the DTS. I know there is an "initial" depreciation that is great, but ether buying a Certified pre-owned model, or keeping a new one several years, and the cost benefit is reasonable. Of course, there is the intangible of driving such a fine, comfortable and luxurious automobile!
