I just thought I would share these pics I took today. My cousin recently purchased the Fleetwood Autobodies building that was used from 1909-1930. From what I understand the Fisher brothers owned it and used to hand form auto bodies there until the work moved to Detroit. I haven't looked into the rest of the history yet but the Fleetwood Historical Society has a bunch of info. According to them Cadillac carried on the "Fleetwood" name in honor of this place. I went looking around for any good collectibles, but my cousin says the last owners donated all the leftovers to the historical society. There was a larger building next to it, but it burned down.

what is he going to do with the building?

He's using the first floor as his granite and marble shop and trying to rent the other two floors. It still has the elevator for cars, so he was thinking about car storage upstairs. The floorboards look kind of questionable though...
