I purchased a 2009 DTS and it did not have a garage door opener remote. My dealer says he does not sell them. Is there any way I can get one and have it installed?

Automatic garage door opener. You can program a separate door/gate for each button. Jim rrcartwright 07-01-09, 07:57 PM No, I just have a blank panel there. tedcmiller 07-02-09, 09:46 PM Yikes! I didn't know that you could get a DTS without the built-in garage door opener. However, it turns out that the two lowest priced models don't include it. How you go about getting one on a DTS that doesn't have one probably involves buying replacement parts and having it installed - very expensive. This assumes that the existing cable assembly has the necesssary wiring and connector for the built-in garage door opener. If the wiring and connector are not present on those models, then trying to install one after the fact could become very, very expensive. I would suggest using the remote you have and forget about a built-in. | |
