The 94 FWB that I am buying has the factory am/fm cassette radio. Can a factory am/fm/CD radio from 95/96 FWB bolt right into place on my 94? I've been looking at more modern stereos with CD's but I don't really want to change the stock look with an aftermarket radio.

Are there any brand of aftermarket radios that look more factory than the smaller face/adapter types that I've been seeing? At least a radio that fits the original space won't look too custom.

Thanks.

I honestly can't find ANY double din radios. I too am looking for one. I can't afford to go the touch-screen route either. lol

this radio is nice because its modern yet kinda looks like it could be stock

Nah that doesn't look stock at all. Too much nonsense IMO.

That almost looks like it really could be OEM. But it also looks cheap, so I don't know. :(

Oh my god: PERFECT if this radio didn't have the silver

Tech-y enough to look and be modern, but not so over the top so as to look like an aftermarket light show. I know what I'm buying. :D

I believe the 94-96 Buick Roadmaster double din unit will also work.

Were talking fleetwood or brougham ..The 93-96 radios with a CD player will bolt in... I would not try to put aftermarket one in.Too many things will get screwed up....I have got a few used ones , 3 from the junk yard and ebay.. none of them had a working CD player...I have got a new cd player and put it in the radio and it still works...I think it was $130 or more....I still have some radios around here with a broken cd player...Did you ask THEFLEETWOODGUY? he might have one...

Well, I know I have a Brougham. TheFleetwoodGuy told me he was getting another FWB that had an aftermarket radio in it. I have semi-dibs on it though (I hope?)

Thanks for the good advice. I shot FLEETWOODGUY an email. I hope I can use a working factory CD.

If you care nothing of the warranty offered and are good with your hands, you can make it perfect. In my experience in scrapping electronics and radios, there is always a way to get the trim off. Just be real gentle, so not to disturb the internals. Look around stores, junkyards, your neighbor's house, or anywhere else, for a piece of black hard plastic that your want to put there.

I personally would go as far as acquiring a piece of woodgrain trim (that matches the color of your car's woodgrain) and cutting it to fit the radio.

No, that is a 1.5 DIN. You need a double din from the later Roadmasters. Hang on, I'll find a pic...

there is a company in Massachusetts that fixes them for a flat fee
I paid $100 ea for them just to have them,
I will get them both fix , then offer them up

In my research I am coming up with a LOT of broken CD players. Are these CD player very unreliable??...If so, I'll just put an Alpine in the car.
