: Finally got my 20's for the V

After what felt like an eternity to get my wheels, I finally received them and couldn't be happier with the fit, finish, and look of the wheels. Scott from Forged Distributing really stepped it up in the end to make up for someone else's screw up along the way.

20 x 9 245 35 20; 20 x 10.5 295 30 20

The centers are brushed and clear coated, and the outer rim is chrome.

So, without further adieu.....

They look sharp and go well with the silver V.

Getting rid of the GM chiclets on the sides improves the looks, too.

Gorgeous....the prettiest wheels I've seen in some time on any car. Are they manufactured by Forged Distributing? Do you mind if I ask the name of the wheel model, and/or purchasing contact info? AD

These are from the new System Forged line of wheels they just came out with this year. These are the SF-6 model.
I will PM you the contact info because I'm not sure of the forum rules for posting contact info for a company that isn't a supporting vendor.

Thanks,
Mark

Rim and tire sizes are in original post. The rim type is System Forged SF-6 and I got General Exclaim UHP tires.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I'm pleased with the results myself.
As for my springs, the fronts used to squeak, but I had them installed with the ends of the springs pointing the wrong direction. I had to re-do the front springs. You need to make sure the "Eibach" label on the springs is facing outward towards the wheel. If not, squeek city when you are going slow. The instructions even say to make sure you remember the stock spring direction and install these the same or squeeking may occur.

Thanks,
Mark

The wheels look great!

What was the offset on the rears?

Did you have to mod your fenders at all? Any rubbing? Thats the biggest rear rim I have seen so far.

Congrats on the new wheels, they are a very clean addition.

As for the offset, I'm not certain. I let the manufacturer handle all that. They told me to trust them and I did and it all worked out. Again props to Scott and Alain at Forged Distributing (formerly 360 Forged) for turning out some great wheels.
These wheels required no mods to the fenders and there is no rubbing. The rears are 10.5 inches and it has a 3 inch lip.

Thanks,
Mark

Yes, I bought some new TPMS sensors and had them installed. Then I activated each one using my trackside tool for TPMS. Very easy process.

I did the same thing so I didn't have to tear down the stock wheels.

If you made the stock wheels "winter" wheels will they be read? or do you need to re-add those?

Anytime you swap wheels you have to reactivate the tpms... it's a 2minute drill.

Thanks guys, for all the compliments.
I still enjoy the springs and don't experience the problems some other have talked about. For well under $300.00, that is my favorite mod so far.

The wheels look nice, very clean set up, excellent choice. But, and I do not want to offend, you select very pricey custom wheels, mount them on very pricey vehicle, then wrap your wheels with cheap crap rubber!!!! I do not understand why people do this, why not finish the package off with comprable tires. The Exlaim UHP is about the least exspensive 20" tire you can buy, other than Nexxen or Sumitomo. You get what you pay for, and this certainly rings true for tires. I have been on a ride and drive for Continental and the Exlaim is not the greatest riding tire, will become noisey after a little wear. Again not bashing, just wondering.

I had the Nitto Invo's on my Z06, and these tires ride and drive every bit as good as those. But to answer your question, If and when I burn the rears off, they are cheap to replace. Plus they had the sizes I wanted. No offense taken. I'm not an auto-crosser so these tires suit me fine.

shit i got the invos on my 360 splits sevens because i had no choice. i would've gone the cheaper route if i could've because i know with the drop i'm going to go through these at least once a year if not less. if i were to replace these i'd be just under $1,000 instead of like 700 or 650 for some hankooks or some other kind. :annoyed:

I've had my springs on for many months now, so I believe the settling is done. Over the first month or 2 it did a good amount of settling. Thanks for the compliments.
