Hey i saw some pics of guys with black rims on their CTS's.. just wondering wut everyone thought would look better.... chrome or black rims

Chrome or Silver. I'm not too into black.

I'm not into chrome rims-- too gaudy IMO. I like the plain painted ones on the CTSs that have a plain metallic look. Black rims are for sports cars.

only go with black if you have white, silver or black cts.

yeah, but at this point, what isn't played out??

you have to make it fit the 'look' of your car. as long as you don't just slap some random wheels on, any color can look good. but at the same time, if you're not careful, any color can look bad too. i think both chrome and black look good on certain cars, so just go with what you like the best.

to clarify i think chrome is played out not black or grey chrome which can exist with new technology

ok, sorry. i see what you mean now. again, i think it all depends on the rest of your car. you can make the chrome look good and you can make the black look bad.
