In my 92 deville, the ses light always goes on for a tranny code (I posted about it before - alot of people think there is no definite way to get rid of it). Anyway, its extremely annoying and it goes on every time I drive it. Is there any way to disable it??

other than taking the bulb out, no. Sometimes you can dummy out a sensor, but your code comes from a calculation based on input from different important sensors.

Just put a piece of black electrical tape over it.

What codes you talking about, still E24 & E39?

If still getting E24, are your speedometer readings always consistent & accurate? Most of the time that's due to a poor electrical connection but can be a bad sensor.

If it's still E39 & you are sure there is good contact at the electrical connector going into the transmission, drop the pan & replace the TCC solenoid (by far the weakest link in these transmissions). It's real easy to do when you're replacing the filter & gasket.

Then hopefully no codes, no SES light, & best of all a torque converter that locks up ( or unlocks) when it's supposed to. GL. :coolgleam
