Hey,my name's Matt,29,from Yucaipa,CA.I used to be on here as 72DeVil,had a 1972 Coupe DeVille, then a '73 Coupe, then a '62 Sedan, and currently I have my baby,my golden ring if you will.I currently own an original 1963 Cadillac Coupe DeVille(Almost fully optioned, minus the Eldorado trim and bucket seat package). It does need a little work, but not much. The major thing is the motor is going through a top end rebuild and unleaded conversion at the end of July as well as a power steering rebuild. All in all it is worth all the work I'm going to put in to it.Here's a teaser pic for now:

Thanks. This is my 6th Cadillac in a few years, and the one I plan on holding on to for a while.

Well, welcome back?! :hmm: Why'd you sign up under a new username instead of just logging in under the old one?

My old account was giving me errors while logging in,and the site would freeze up.Also, didn't want the 72 in my name anymore since I don't own the '72 anymore.By the way,why won't it let me post pics in other sections besides here?

Welcome back, Matt.. I did find a couple of usernames SIMILAR to the one you mentioned above - but they only had 1 post each. Was that you? If you'd like, I could merge your old account into this new one.. Let me know...

Odd,I posted way more than once with my old account.I wouldn't mind the merge, but i would really love if i cold post pictures now.

You can post all the pics you'd like. For awhile your posts that contain web addresses, etc will have to be approved by a moderator. This is just one of the tools in place to keep spamming to a minimum here, and keep the forums user friendly. You won't have to bother with that for very long. Be patient. ;)

So,I just talked to Jason Edge who runs a '63/'64 Cadillac group about getting the upper grill support and passenger side headlight bezel,so that should be the last of the correct parts I need. The car is decent, but it definitely needs a paint job and some minor body work. For now I'm just conetrating on getting the motor work and power steering done.
