Was curious if the V1 Skip 1-4 cable would work with the V2

I asked the same question when I made the switch. The answer is it does not matter. You will NEVER need it. The V2 is set up so you have to try and hit (not easy to go) the CAGS system.

I'm not convinced the car even has the skip-shift any more. It has never occured even once in my car after seven weeks, even when trying to get it to skip just to see what it's like. Maybe they deleted it and just didn't mention it in the manual, like with other running changes. In any event, no need for any intervention as far as I can tell.

It still exists but you have to really work at it to get it to do it.
