Trust this is the proper location for these intros?

Anyway, back in '87 I was freezing my a*** off in a remote mountain side
in Lappland* wearing military green. As always in military service, I was
killing time. This time my tool was an issue of Automobile magazine and hey
presto, there it was, an article on Allante.

Fast forward 22 yrs and yesterday I bought my 1st ever american car after
being raised with MB's and for the last 25 yrs prefering strictly italian and
british hardware.

So, cheers for all. Looking forward enjoying both the forum and my Allante.

Welcome to the forum! We have another Finn on the Forum. From Helsinki, I believe. One of the virtues of American cars are their HVAC systems which I would think would be much appreciated in Finland!
