| View Full Version : washer fluid light 79 Sedan deVille Bro-Ham 06-12-09, 10:55 PM Hi, On my '79 Sedan deVille every time when I turn on the wipers the "washer fluid" light on the dash always comes on. My fluid reservoir is full. How do I fix this? Thanks! Dave carnut 06-14-09, 10:05 PM The washer tank has a float within it. The contacts rust up. Dave Bro-Ham 06-17-09, 09:46 PM Hi, Today there was a monsoon of BIG thunderstorms and I knew the wipers would need to be activated. Before I went out I disconnected the washer fluid indicator from the tank and also unplugged and re-plugged the connection. I turned on the wipers and the "WASHER FLUID" light did not come on!!!!
