: Cigarette Lighters

The Fleetwood Brougham I bought has three cigarette lighter sockets, but one one lighter (at least that I have yet to discover).

Would there be a way to replace them? Would the lighters have to be from the same model car?

I know this might sound cheesy, but one of the big auto parts stores has a chrome plated cigarette lighter that looks period correct. It looked almost the same as the ones in my car, and I'd imagine it would work since your cellphone charger will plug in and work in a 1975 Deville or a 2005 DTS.

I think I saw it at O'Riley's, might have been autozone. Its down that aisle with the ricer dress up stuff, skull door lockers, etc.

I work at AutoZone and their stupid ricer isle has some stuff that's actually helpful without looking too rediculous. For example I found a box of chrome edging that I bought to replace the broken and missing factory trim around the tail lights on my 76 DeVille. The stuff looks brand new and OE, no one could tell it came from the "Car Abuse" isle at AutoZone.....

Hmmm, I guess I'll take a trip to AutoZone, then.

I did find a couple OEM GM lighters on eBay for less than $10 shipped. I think I'll pick up one of each and figure out which ones work best.

Thanks guys.

The OE ones have little designs around the top that are the same design as the wreath.

Or you could go to the junkyard and fill your pockets like I did. Hahaha.

Just some useless information, but they're not called cigarette lighters. Because of their large diameter, GM considers then cigar lighters.

you should def. look at a junkyard so you can find the one that have the Cadillac wreath on them.
