Hey everyone, a friend of mine just had his escalade stolen. They apparently stick a screw driver in the handle and pop. YOUR $ 50,000 truck is theirs. I heard about this a while back but never happened to me. There is a new product on lildevilmotorsports.com that claims to stop this. I just bought them $ 45.00 to the door. I'll let you guys know how they work. Hey $ 45.00 is nothing to stop my $ 57000 escalade from vanashing.

haha. Thats all good to try and block that part. But the reality is if a thief wants your car nothing is going to stop them, not even the club or an alarm.

This best way to prevent your car stolen is to pop the fuses out and also disconnect the electrical of the fuel injector. Or a better way is keep your car in the garage.

All the mentioned methods of keeping the car safe are good..
But remember that if the criminal wants the car bad enough is this..
A flat bed tow truck or a tow truck can take your stuff away just as fast.

Please post some pictures after you complete the install as I'm interested to see if there are any outside signs of this being done.
I saw the picture of how the unit looks installed but I'm curious as to how it looks.

Any help would be great..

My father's EXT was stolen 7 days afetr he had it, while on vacation in Montreal. They apparently loaded it onto a flat bed with a front end loader because it was parked between two vehicles, no broken glass, and my father had the keys...they will get it if they really want to, and if not, you are still going to have a lot of damage because they will be pissed.

No wonder why the escalade is the top stolen suv. :rant2:

Since I dont keep valuables in my SUV, like credit cards, wallets or cash, I dont care having my truck stolen, report it to the insurance company, and replace it with a brand spankinŽnew truck. If I had extra accesories I would buy a special equipment insurance, to have the money of those accesories replaced.

If someday I have my truck or car stolen I would not like to recover it, it wonŽfeel comfortable driving a car or truck driven by a car thief or a criminal.
Rather have it replaced with a new one. :D

Just my $.02

My cousin had his Hummer stole from the mall. They put oil down in front of the truck and pull it onto the flat-bed. Whether or not you can get a new truck through your insurance, its the headaches of going through a car thief. Its a lot of B.S. to go through getting a rental and waiting for your insurance company to process the claim. So the people that say they don't care is a bunch of bull. You have to take into consideration that your time is money, too.

well obviously this thread is not for everyone, i was simply trying to help with a big problem. For those of you who want more info, i'm going to install these this week. I agree that if someone wants your lade they will have it, but i'm going to make it more difficult. I do park in my garage but i do medical sales and travel alot. I do not want to come out of an office and bam it's gone. Hope this helps those of you who care.

better check with your insurance. a lot of times they won't do anything unless the truck is recovered. or if they do it's a huge headache. remember they have to do something to keep someone from going and 'stealing' their own car and dumping it in a lake.
