Craigslist can be hit or miss. I sold a guitar amp through Craigslist and it went flawlessly, but I'd still only use Craigslist as a last resort.

When I put the S Class on CL, I had nothing but lowballing scum. No thanks!

Anytime you list on Craigslist, you should be prepared for a 40% bullshit reply and lowballer ratio.

That being said, a Craigslist ad for my Range Rover got me laid by this:

Obviously... I have no complaints.

Why do I hear the Everly Brothers singing "All I Have To Do Is Dream"?

If that's true, then your lack of class is showing. :alchi:

Actually, giving out her name would demonstrate a lack of class. Stating what happened just illustrates my point. :)

My point which actually has nothing to do with the score, rather that Craigslist is the kind of place that leads to all kinds of unusual arrangements (and problems as demonstrated by last month's highly publicized case), but you have to know how to work with it to get the desired result. By its very nature Craigslist is a bartering site. I often put things up for sale and get the coolest offers for trades. It can actually be alot of fun. However it can also be a nightmare if you really NEED to sell something. I'm actually EXTREMELY paranoid and HATE having Craigslisters come to my house for anything.

I lead a fairly boring and uneventful life Sarah. If something that exciting comes along, I'm going to milk it for all it's worth!

I have explicit evidence that this event actually occurred. My roommates and I distributed high-fives and lulz.

buy and sell alot on craigs myself....I get the emails about the spammers. I tell they are being reported to authorities....works very well.

I put my phone number and anybody that emails me....I say simply that there is a number..call it or you are fake.

that has worked well also
