On my 84 Deville I removed all the screws on the sides and in the middle blower vents and it still will not pull out? Anyone do this before?

There are also screws above the glove box liner (must remove liner to access) and above the speedometer.

It's been a while but aren't there screws behind the A/C vents too?

yea theres screws by the vents and there should be a little hole in the glove box liner where the screw is. unless its different from an 87

after you get all the screws out, you have to push towards the windsheild to get it to unclip. I will just go ahead and call it a huge pain in the ass.

there's a screw above your speedometer and in the glovebox. They are both facing upward, once you've got these and the screws in the vents it should come right out..

Thanks, i would have never found those two other screws. I actually got 5x7 speakers in there. The rear was no problem and now it sounds way better.

I wish there were room for 5x7's in mine. I just upgraded my 20w rms 4x6's to a nice 100w rms pair hooked up to my amp. It's real loud.
