we'd all love those :) but really, for the price and durablity, i'd go with 22s. 22s will still let you have a good size sidewall so it would still ride decent and not risk rolling the sidewall over.

Ya man, just be careful because as I left the caddy dealer today (took my car in for service) they had an Escalade with a dub-two+ wheels and the rear was severely bent and probably irreparable. That's at least $500 down the tubes!

Why not get a set of 20's? This is a good size because you could avoid low profile tires (thus avoid harsh ride; risk of damage to tires, rims, suspension, brakes; poor gas mileage from added weight, etc.) while still adding style. Just take a look at the goregous dubs on the Infiniti FX. I believe it rides on 265/50/20...plenty of car-life saving sidewall.

Just think about this phrase: "LOW PROFILE TIRES ON A SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE" It doesn's sound right! (and that's because it's not). JMHO.

I would go with 22's. Run a 305/45/22 Toyo tire and you probably wouldn't have to worry about the side walls. I ran this size on my old truck and had no problems with curbs and potholes. The only thing is to upgrade the brakes. This goes for anything 20's and up. The unsprung weight of these big rim packages are really hard on the brakes.

what kind of upgrade would you do?? anything out there good enough for 22s and still be able to fit stock wheels if you want??

I have 22's and they ride just like the stock wheels do. However a friend has 24's and it's a little bumpy. If comfort is your concern try 22's or 23's. Also buy a high quality wheel like giovanna, they will not turn out like #$^% after a year.

I would go for 20 and that's what I got on my Ext no problem the ride, the warranty ....etc. --- No worries !!

I think anything smaller than 24's is good for everyday practical driving. With 24's it does not have everyday drivability.

No i was just bein a smartass i highly recommend NOT to get air ride my rides like crap. even with shocks it just bounces all over the road. you know how the old school caddys where they would just float all over the road well the same there here you cant just kick back and cruise you always have to be on the sterring wheel or you will crash.also when i do like 60 or above it it starts to bounce side to side and you have to slow down.... so now i drive it about twice a week.

wow....that sucks. i have to drive mine everyday over some sometimes bumpy roads. the roads in the northeast aren't always the best. you'd never be able to tell the former head of road committee in the house of representitives was from my home district. that's why i'm even worried about 22s.

ya really i live in a small town and they really dont take care of the roads here that much.theres we have alot of mountains around so there's always branches in the road and stuff like that.sometimes even rocks in the road thats fall from the banks and the winter time you really have to watch out for branches.

that sucks. we don't have to worry about that much, the snowplows keep that stuff off in the winter :helpless: we have HUGE potholes here.

ya i bet with the plows and stuff we get a very small amount of snow here it sticks maybe 2 times a winter maybe a 1'' or so nothin much...

man.....that would be great. i don't even like to drive my car in the winter. they salt the roads to melt the ice and then there's salt on the roads until late march or april. and that stuff just makes your car white with dirt.
