Man nothing is simple anymore! I just replaced my radiator, thermostat and hoses and thought I would put 2 switches under the dash to run my electric fans when I am stuck in traffic. Here's what I did {I am a simple guy}. I ran a positive and split it between 2 switches, one for the left fan, one for the right fan and I sent the juice to each fan. Everything works well until I start the car. Then smoke appears, the fuse blows, what the hell is going on? I spent a great deal of time to run the wires properly, is it possible to control those fans manually?? Is there somebody out there who succeded?
