Can you put in a GM navigation system in a 2002 escalade? i would like to keep it stock instead of an aftermarket system.:bouncy:

i've been looking into it and i think it's possible but not worth it. it would basically have to be rewired, so unless you know someone REALLY good at that kind of thing, i wouldn't bother.

You can replace your OEM Radio with a OEM Nav unit and the only thing you have to install is the GPS Antenna, if not allready installed.
I have the CD based and the NEW 2005 Touchscreen Nav unit if you are interested.

Gabbman,

I'll take $1250.00 and your old unit with the software.
The unit I have is unlocked and ready to use, no trip to the
dealer needed to unlock it. You will also need to get the new
DVD Map, Rev. 3, that you can find on e-bay for about $100.
I need to know which BOSE amp you have installed as there were
two versions made for the BOSE system.
Send me an e-mail if you are interested.

Hi RGS....I have a bose radio in my 02. It is NOT a nav, but I am interested in installing one that is still bose based for sound. In otherwords, I don't want to mess up my decent sound to get the NAV, but want the NAV and dvd options. Do you know if this is possible?

Do you have the 2-DIN radio installed?
If you have the 2-DIN radio installed you can install a navigation unit that will work with the BOSE amp installed in your Escalade. Send me an e-mail at george32@cscape.net
