For the people that purchased W4M full exhaust and found it to be to loud, i found a fix for about $50. You have to cut off the stock mufflers and put it on Jesses system. When you want, you can go back to stock. I made this change and it is almost stock sounding. I got these items from Summit. 2 1/2" clamps(2) Sum-G4625, 3" clamps(2) Sum-G4630(2), SST Strap Band WLK-33240(2) You can do without Strap and use the ones from Jesses kit, i just wanted a spare set, Reducer WLK-41973(2).

I can't say that my 4 1/2" cuts will work on yours for sure because of the varance in weld spots etc. You do have some play, so it should work but i give no guarantee. I am not a mechanic.
You can go back to stock at anytime by using the sst clamps. DO NOT cut off any extra pipe of the stock system.
If your still not sure what i'm doing, you can email me with your phone # and i will give you a call. I'm not the best at putting into works whats in my head. Cecil.........

^^ Hmm - if I'm not mistaken, I think that's the same as one of Jesse's optional systems, where he offers a 3" exhaust from the cats back to the OEM mufflers through a stainless X-pipe. I purchased that from him but haven't installed it yet. How does it sound ?

Its the same one except i didn't get the one he offered useing the OEM mufflers. This is for people, like me, that got the full lenght system with no mufflers. It was to loud, so this is why i had to cut his down and go the route i did. It sound great now. I think you'll like them. Cecil.........

Well, I too modified my full 3" exhaust. I put on magnaflow round mufflers and the sound is just about perfect. Changes the tone and subdues it just enough. It was quite a job, but my friend has a mufflershop and we did it out there. unfortunately the mufflers were not a direct replacement as they were too long, but we made it work and it is really weet now.

the bassani race mufflers work well. you can place them even at the gas tanks and the fit.

I try to get some pics this weekend. Sounds like the bassani might have a better fit. I know mine are the 6" round magnaflows with 3" inlets. The sound is perfect for me.

Bassani are very narrow, kinda oval shapped. I think 4 inch by 6.
