WOW---what a beautiful ride! From a time when a Cadillac luxury ride really looked like a Cadillac-----long,wide and excessive!

I like that.
Hubcaps from a 79 De Ville, customized Rolls Royce Grill, shiny vogue gold emblems, and the car looks cleaner that when it hit the showroom floor. You defiantly have the right idea when it come to customization of a classic. It's hard to tell from the picture, but is that a gold taillight emblem in the middle of the grill?

My Cadillac is not quite as nice as your; there is a little rust on the body and the paint could use a touch up.

The hub caps are from a 76 Seville, the rear quarter panel emblems are vintage "Brougham d'Elegance" scripts, and I changed the wreath crest on the trunk lid to a V crest.

A few weeks ago, I added a chrome centerline to the hood and spear-base (removed from an 82 De Ville) to the original hood ornament.

Yeah the emblem in middle of grille looks like the ones in the tailights but it actually came on the grille. Grille and continental kit were dealer add ons. Car is originally from Vegas, bought new at Cashman cadillac. At the time was the largest caddy dealer in Vegas. I think they went for those gaudy add ons out there a little more than most places. Definitely makes for a unique looking brougham though. The hubcaps are period correct. Car came with real wires with gold spokes but the salt this winter did a number on them and I pulled them. Going to restore them but I liked the look of the hubcaps so much that Ive been putting it off. Hopefully I can keep it off the roads next winter.

Cadillac actually made those hubcaps way past '79. My Brougham has them and they were standard equipment (wire hubcaps were a few hundred dollars more).

Looks nice, but I'm not real big on that continental kit or the gold emblems. Gold emblems look good on certain colors, but they really clash with silver IMO.
