It's a bit overdue, as I've owned the Allante for a year now. I've been putting it off because I'm not the most technically inclined man. Decided the other day I need to get it done.

Anyway, went out this morning and followed the steps I've read online. Nice, clear brake fluid is now running through my system, and some nasty gunk is sitting harmless in a small bucket.

If I would have tried this, the title would have read "Knuckles Bled Successfully. Brakes, not so much."

Days 2 and 3 (yesterday and today, respectively) -

Yesterday and today I went through bleeding the brake lines. Not too much eventful, except because of time constraints I did the RR and LF yesterday and the LR and RF today. Also, replaced the front brake pads (the right front were really bad) since those came from the previous owner.

The air filter was really bad too. I don't think it's been changed since new! Ordered it early yesterday morning, picked it up yesterday night and installed it this morning.

Clear skies above; it's time for a cruise! :cool2:

If only the right front were the worst, I would suspect the guide pins on the calipers were not lubed, I assume you cleaned these pins and regreased them?? If the pins were lubed, then I would suspect a restricted brake hose to that caliper. Requiring replacement of at least those 2 front flex hoses.
