I tried to recover the center console using a vinyl manufactured by "Allante". It is too thick and doesn't form around the corners. Does anyone have any suggestions for what vinyl to use. Don't gte me wrong, the Allante vinyl is a reallly nice product but it doiesn't seem to work. Thanks in advance for your reply.

"Allante" vinyl is a brand name, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Cadillac Allante'. Thick vinyl does not work when recovering interior parts. It will not bend well around corners and edges.

Thanks for the reply. I know the Allante fabric is unrelated to the Allante car and that the names are coincidental. The sample looked great and the color is a good match. I didn't consider the thickness. It is intended for auto interiors but the center console has a lot of corners and bends. Can you recommend a fabric manufacturer that would be comparable to what was originally installed?
