or any other "custom" feature that would seem out of character.

How about: 1. Continental Kit
2. Windshield Visor
3. TV Antenna on the back
4. Fender Skirts at the rear wheels
5. Appletons (spot lights on driver and passenger doors)
6. Fake convertable top with "S" bars
7. Buick type port holes
8. Car raked - front end jacked up and rear end lowered.

The first person to put spinners on their V should have their car taken away. What poor taste!

What are those thing?
Anti Static - Metal strips that were attached to the rear bumper of the car, said to take away static electricity and stop kids from getting car sick.
Curb Feelers - chrome rods on springs attached to the lower ride side of
the car. They would hit the curb and "boing" before you hit the curb to
warn you how close you were to the curb.
Baby moon - small chrome dish hub caps.
