Bought an 09 CTS4 from dealership outside of Chicago the last day of the "you pay what our empleyees pay" which I belive was Sept. or Oct. of last year. At the time of pick up the Monroney was not on the window but was promised to be gotten for me by the "delivery manager" along with we will give you so-and-so and such-and-such if you bring in the questionaire I should recieve in the mail and fill it out correctly. Have notified the delivery manager 3 or 4 times about the sticker and every time it was primised to me also mentioned that I never recieved the promised questionaire and about that was told not everybody gets it.
He even went so far as to call me once and say the sticker was in the mail and I should recieve it shortly, but that was 4 or so months ago. Can't speak to the delivery manager any longer because he no longer works for the dealer.
Talked to the salesman in person and over the phone and he was to call me back, that too was 3 or so months ago. Spoke to someone that I think was higher up and he said he would get back to me that same day, no luck there either.
Called the 1-800 number in the back of the 09 manual and spoke to a Joe Reed who tried but could nowhere with the dealer, either no call backs or just plain BS. He escalated me to a woman who has been trying for the last 2-3 weeks but I just spoke to her and all I got was each dealer is independently owned ans they have no control over such things so they can't force the dealer to get me one. But I think she said she would keep on trying.....
Seems there should be some way for someone to put the VIN # in a computer and print it out and send it to me.
Actually I belive I would like to sell the car as my wife was given the bad news on Feb. 9th that she has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and the money could be put to better use. So there it sits in the garage about 8 months old and only 800 or so miles on the speedo.
If anyone could help please do.....
PS....If dealership, salesman or manager names are needed I will supply

Remind the dealership that...

The sticker is required to be affixed to the side window (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Window) or windshield (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windshield) of every new car sold in the United States that can only be removed by the ultimate customer (US Code Title 15 Chapter 28 Sections 1231-1233). A fine of up to US$ (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_dollar)1,000 per vehicle plus one year in jail for each offense is authorized if the sticker is missing.
