R-Caddy 05-18-09, 06:44 PM Are you trying to add 134A and having trouble through the regular port? OR, is you A/C panel out and you need to manually turn the compressor on? ttabboo 05-18-09, 11:01 PM My compressor clutch won't engage when I turn on the are so I want to find out if it is fust low on 134A or if I have an electrical problem. I have checked all relays & fuses. The panel acts as it should, no strange readout or anything so it may be just low on freon. R-Caddy 05-20-09, 07:44 PM Probably. It takes is a few attemps before it kicks in if it hasn't been run in a while. Try turning the A/C button On and Offa few times while trying tu put some 134 in. May also be a bad clutch ttabboo 05-21-09, 09:38 PM I got some 134 & I hooked it up after a minute or so the clutch kicked in & a can of freon later I had cold air. Unfortunately my wife took the car shopping & came back with a check engine light. The code says bank one lean. I think it's an O2 sensor but I'm not sure. One more problem & this car is getting sold!!!! | |
