Anyone know of any good tuners in Wisconsin? I'm in Appleton - up by Green Bay. I know C&M Performance out of Hubertus is great for 'stangs but what about our V's? It'd be nice to find someone local as opposed to a mail order tune.

By local - I would be willing to drive as far south as Chicago.

I'm not sure. He totaled his V and may be focused on new challenges but it's worth a call. I and several others here can vouch for his tunes.

If you want to drive about 2 hours south of Chciago, Ron at Pro Dyno Tech in Crawfordsville, IN is fantastic. He got me almost 20hp over the tune that EPP in Fort Wayne (and they have a great reputation) got me. I need to go back there for some tweaks soon, so let me know if you are going....I'll meet you there.

i have a Stealth Tune right now but i have no idea what i have. the car came with it (at least that's what the guy said anyways). i tried emailing Stealth to find out if he/they had any saved information about it but i never received a reply. here's a link to the car if anyone here has any info on it. i discovered the link just about 2 days ago - so that was kinda fun :) i guess i could contact the owner that put it on the registry - Jimbo - but isn't that kinda "stalkerish"?

thanks - so far this sounds like it may be the way to go. i could at least give 'em a call for some advise. i know i want headers, larger tb (although the gains for now would be minimal - their still gains), maf screen delete. i may end up waiting for these things to be done before tuning it.

unless - i don't need a tune for headers and no cats or high flow cats.

I have heard a lot of bad things about Speed Inc. One of the main problems that I have heard was the fact that they are dickheads unless you are doing a LOT of work with them. I am sure they would put a good tune in, but from what I heard they take a canned tune and tweak it real quick to your car.

Not to bump an old thread unnecessarily... but….

I was going to do my own clutch swap in a couple weeks w/ lolly’s write up.. but my clutch just boiled my RBF600 for the second time… from dragging all the time(not old fluid.. I bleed the poor thing all the time) … #($(# stupid slave cylinder!

So I need to just pay someone to get it done ASAP… I can’t keep getting stranded all the time.

Other than Speed Inc… any other decent small shops in the Chicago area I should check into?

Speed Inc was cordial on the phone... wow the real rude guys were
Arrow Transmission Service in Glen Ellyn.... HOLY #$*%$ As soon as that guy heard I wasn't putting in exact OEM part he flipped out on me.... yeah that's a good way to get my business. I'll try and find that Vette shop... that sounds promising....
