Well after having one bolt fail I checked the other and sure enough it was on the way to failure as well.

These are the bolts that hold the engine cradle to the body, you can see them from the underside on the car just back fom the wheel.

When one broke my wife noticed a thumping sound on the floor, if both broke I would be worried the extra strain could failure of the other bolts then really bad things.

So get under and pull those bolts out and have a look, or better yet get some M16x60mm 10.9 metric flange bolts and swap them while you are there.

My 04 has 48k on it and both bolts were runsted bad and one right through.

Ummm right, water does not rust US bolts?

This SRX is so clean in it is not even funny, the water collects around these bolts and can't get out so they rust.
