I use dino oil and NAPA oil filters on both my cars, the napa oil filters are Wix brand, good quality.

I use Castrol 5w30 High Mileage, and a FRAM filter.

The recommended oil weight should be on the oil cap.

5w30 as the others have said. I use synthetic in all my vehicles. Castrol in cars with roller cams, and Rotella T for the old flat tappet cams. There are much better filters out there than Fram... check out the Napa Gold (made by Wix).

NAPA Gold or Wix filters as stated above. There's lots of good oils out there. Any good quality dino should get you 5K miles before a change. Much longer on syn.

If you've been using dino oil this whole time it may not make sense at this point to switch to synthetic.

I strongly suggest you switch from fram filters, theres lots of info on them
in this forum, some guys have actually cut them open and have found that they are completly collapsed inside ,blocking the flow of oil into them.

Dino, (your choice) as for the filter definitely WIX, both Napa/Carquest carry it.

For those using AMSOIL, please consider the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program (http://www.c66racing-synthetics.com/Preferredcustomer.htm) which allows you to buy at dealer wholesale, about 25% under retail. As an FYI, AMSOIL is partnered with Wix and Preferred Customers can also buy Wix filters at wholesale.
