How do I get the panel off on the Front Dash Speakers in a 87 Deville?

You Don't take the panels off if it's a FWD car, the whole Top half of the dash comes off. First You remove the air vents by pulling straight out evenly on both sides of them. Then all you have to do is remove all the phillips head screws behind them and also the ones holding the plastic defrost vent on Top the dash. Take the top half of the dash out of the car and you will see the speakers. If you are replacing the factory speakers with aftermarket ones, you will have to Cut the factory Clips off the speaker wires and crimp on new female connectors to the cars speaker wire, also check your Depth clearance on your speakers, they have to be close to the factory ones in order for the dash to Fit back correctly. If the replacement speakers magnet is to big, you may have to do some cutting to make them fit using a single hack saw blade. The speakers on the FWD are 4x6. :)
