Just received some carbon activated cabin filters from:

http://www.allergybegone.com/cadillac-cts-cabin-air-filter.html

They fit perfectly, have a rubber strip on each side to prevent leaks.
It's labeled as OE part GM02112C. It's a nice heavy filter.

The original paper filter was already so dirty after 4 months, the humid outside air of the last couple of weeks here in tx was causing the mold on the filter to sent toxic fumes in the cabin, which i'm very allergic to.

Under the hood, at the passenger side by the windshield. Undo 3 screws and pull away the leaf cover. Reach inside and pull the plastic top that holds the filter. (Remember how that top was installed. It's very simply and easy to get off).
Now pull out the filter and insert a new one. Very simple, takes 5 minutes. It's described in the manual. You don't have to lift the windshield wipers.

Unfortunately, the filter only filters outside air. So mold, dust and pollen still can get into the a/c from clothes and shoes from the air intake under the passenger side dash. The a/c is always recycling some air from the inside.

Does this work for the 2009? It only lists the years as 2003-2006.

I looked at the part number on the old filter and it was the same except for the P(particle): GM02112P.

Fits like a glove.
