This has probably been beaten to death but I cant find where to buy or the best thing to buy to hook up my ipod to my stereo.

My car is a '99 ETC With BOSE, no cd changer but I have an empty plug in the trunk (presumably where cd changer would go).

I have heard some people say center console (is that for '98+ STS?). Under my center console there is a bundle of wires that have been cut...dont know what that is??

Can someone please help direct me to the best sollution to hooking up my ipod. Where to buy the kit and how to hook it up?

Sorry Im ignorant about it. Im a mechanic not an audiophile.

Thanks

Is fairly simple and cheap if you know how to solder. See this (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-audio-video-security-systems/157820-cd-changer-mp3-player.html)
Do NOT cut wires EVER, just make an addapter harness.
