i kno the early 03 models came with cd rom navigation ( i dont know why because the 02 sevilles and 02 devilles all swtiched to DVD navigation) but anyways just wondering if it is at all possible to swtich it to DVD based? i just want to watch DVD movies! please let me kno thanks. :)

There is no way to convert your existing nav unit to DVD that I know of. However, if you are brave, you could try www.car-part.com (http://www.car-part.com/) and look for 2004 cadillac CTS Navigation radios. It should work with your existing wiring and may need to be VIN-reset by the dealer after install (won't work unless it's programed to work with your car). It's up to you if you want to try, cost would be around $1000+ shipping (what they go for).

Keep in mind to, do you have the gray dash or the black dash?
