I have an overdrive pulley but that doesn't really help you much.

Some people who have them don't think its worth the effort, unless your already in there doing a cam.

cause my friend has a g8 gt and people on there forum say it does a good amount for what it is for the g8 and thats a 6.0 and im a 6.0 so i wanted to know it it would be worth it if im already gunna do a throttle body and manifold port job... im going to cartek in garwood and im gunna get a tune there any1 konw anything about cartek in garwood nj

I think you gain maybe 10hp. Its a lot of work though. People do it when they get a cam, since the front of the car is already apart.
A few people had alternator problems, but its not confirmed to be because of the pulley.

Actually, you might be thinking about his rear pulleys on the Maggie. Those are underdriven, for more boost.
I think the OP is talking about the crank pulley.
