I'm pretty sure the sunroof was standard equipment in 2006-2007, so all of the cars have them.

it wasn't standard, but almost, it was basically the only option and dealers just loaded um so they are kinda rare...

it would suck not have a sunroof, i would never track my car enough for it to be worth it

The moonroof was an option in 2004-2005 and was standard equipment in 2006-2007. The only options in 2006-2007 was an engine block heater, dealer installed FG2, and dealer installed Corsa (or by then they may have switched over to Borla).

I thought the sunroof was standard in 2007. However, in my recent search for a used one I actually test drove two that didn't have one. I thought I was strange when I drove the first one and wondered whether it was a real V.

My 2007 is in fact a sunroof delete car so I just was curious as to how rare it really is. The vin # is 1G6DN57U270169975 if anyone has a way to hit the database and show the options.

My '05 doesn't have a moonroof. I had to hunt and hunt for one w/o back then, even though they were an 'option'. I would say that an 06/07 w/o would be very rare.

Unfortunately, to my knowledge, GM didn't keep seperate V numbers, outside of the normal CTS numbers.

I'd be willing to bet though, that a Thunder Gray w/ tan interior, w/o a moon roof, would probably be close to a 1 of 1.

:wtf3:
why wouldn't they keep track of a limited production run??? i mean they knew this was going to be a niche vehicle, that makes no sense to me.. the Friggin GTO's forum has a spreadsheet with the color option/feature break down for the entire production run... we dont even know how many :v: were made total, all we have is the 04-05 #'s:gah:

The base cts was made or mixed in so there is not even a VIN sequence for the V vs base. It's all the same. :)

If you become a supporting member, you can post the VIN in the sticky thread and get the service history and options.

Wel I was wrong again. I did not know you could delete standard factory equipment in a car that is built on an assembly line!

I am SOOOOO L33t, because I don't have a moonroof...You guys suck!!!

:D

P.S. My sail panels don't fall off either. VIVA NO MOONROOF!

P.P.S. The xtra headroom and less weight is nice. Plus I always roll with the windows down anyway, so....

Haha. I spent $45K on an american car, you expect me to be smart? (J/K, love my american cars :D )

I had a loaner CTS with a moonroof, and was surprised how much room it took up. I have no idea how anyone that tracks their car can fit inside a moonroof car with a helmet on. I'm not even tall (5'9"), no clue how anyone over 6' copes.

Yep I looked up your build sheet:

CFN - SUNROOF DELETE

But I would be a little worried about the original dealer / where it was shipped to.
