: 97 Sedan Deville oil change

my car has around 76000 miles on it i've been using castrol high mileage oil 10w30 for the last 3 changes i've also used Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabolizer.Is this a good idea.Thanks for any advice

About all you are accomplishing is putting your money into Lucas's pockets.... It is really unnecessary to run any sort of additives in the Northstar engine...and certainly not recommended.

The oil is fine as long as it is rated SL for service and/or has the GF3 or GF4 starburst symbol for gasoline engines.
