Hi, is the touch up paint (alone) all I need for a Pearl White Diamond 'Lade or is there a clear coat touch up bottle, etc. etc. that is also needed?

Has anyone touched up paint scratches, etc. on a Pearl color? Is the procedure the same as a regular color?

I used a GM white (338)first, then applied WHITE DIAMOND (93 8933 White Diamond touchup , then applied the CLEARCOAT98 800J White Diamond Topcoat touchup. tedious , but effective esp on the plastic trim pieces.

To look the best, you need to start with the base white color, let that dry, then apply the translucent pearl over that. If it's a very large area, you'll have to finish up with a clear to get the gloss back up. That's why it's called 3-stage paint and why it's a factory up-charge.
