So yesterday after school I hopped on the parkway to head over to a friend in Homesteads house to look at her brakes on her Pontiac G6.
Traffic came to a dead stop, so did I.
However the black Jeep behind me didnt, until they hit me.
I seen it coming and nailed the gas to try and pull away but to no avail she hit me doing a good 30 MPH, however due to my quick reaction and the fact I wasnt at a stand still she nailed me forward instead of nailing right through me.
Car held up really well, the bumper is slightly cracked, the paint is cracked everywhere, and the 1/4 was crushed in indicating unibody damage.
As this happened yesterday Ive already been in contact with her insurance co and they have accepted full liability for the incident.
This time, if they ask me to total it, Im gonna okay it, this damn car has a target painted on it I swear...

Ouch man.....dang that car must have a hidden target on it, thats twice in what...3 weeks? Good to hear that you weren't hurt or anything but that car might be jinxed.......

Jesus man! Sell that thing asap and get one that isn't jinxed.

the unibody is def jammed forward
car is tail happy to the pass side (ie the ass is cutting out toward the pass side and the car is turning left with the wheel straight) and above 50 the car just isnt safe
my head/neck still kinda hurt from the whiplash and I have a decent bruise from my seat belt but ill survive...
im just impressed the bags didnt blow and the car took the hit as well as it did...

the state troopers on the scene seen the burnt rubber and i told them i broke her lose trying the GTFO
they said that helped A LOT as i absobed it and lurched forward rather than took the grunt of it by attempting to stop a car much bigger than mine

Sorry about the Camaro though, I used to have a 99 Z28. And I'll agree about the fbody being cursed, mine was hit by a guy riding a harley. He took the turn just a little bit too wide and his fender cover just grazed my rear bumper and left a nice 6" scratch. He was lucky the bike didn't come out from under him.

Not all of us can go out and buy a new 09 SS or a V series so for cheap speed and looks I love the Fbody, nicer than any Mustang IMHO
and this one was farking CLEAN straight as an arrow and completely unmolested...

Without tearing into it and putting it on a frame machine they are estimating the repairs at a little shy of 3500 dollars...
Im having the frame straightened and having them check for any oversight on the damages at Century III Chevy (my uncle works there) having the ins adjust the payout and pocketing the money.
I just dont care anymore how the POS looks, Im sinking the 2500 left over (I figure it cant be more than 1K in frame repair) into an RA or some other Investment
