Thanks! wcoates 04-07-09, 07:30 AM Of the entire 7 year model run for the allante, there were 21430 Allantes produced. 6235 of them were in the white category (5379 Pearl and 856 regular white) for a whopping 29% of the entire prouction. there were 6.25 pearls for every regular white. In your search it might be useful to know that regular white was produced in only 1991-1993 MY but there were still more than twice as many Pearl white produced vs. regular white, Ieradi 04-07-09, 07:48 AM I like my Pearl White...very cool in sun and still a contemporary look. :worship: DavidL 04-07-09, 05:42 PM The Pearl White color was/is gorgeous, even today (it used a 3 step process to achieve the depth of the color, etc.), but the Opaque White (some refer to it as "Refrigerator White) is also quite striking: I know of a 92 Allanté in that color, with a black (Charcoal) interior; the bright red trim stripe really sets this combination off. David wcoates 04-07-09, 07:40 PM Good friend has both whites and one will be for sale by next spring. Biggest problem is he can't decide which. '89 Pearl.'92 Refrigerator. Located in West Lafayette Indiana. Loves to get 'em, fix /em, sell'em, start over. PM if interested. babylac89 04-08-09, 06:23 PM I have a 1993 Pearl White, which I love, especially when the sun hits it. But, if my choice was between a '89 or a 1992, the '92 has a better operating convertible top, which changed mid-1990, and has more power. Peace, Chief | |
