Got a few questions for some of you experts out there.

How do I advance the timing on the 4.9?
How can I fabricate a good intake system?
How can I smooth out my idle?

Thank you. BTW my car is a 95 deville.

How do I advance the timing on the 4.9?.

use search and search for it... this has been discussed many many times...

How can I fabricate a good intake system?.
it's all up to you. chunck everything and use whatever works! you might try search again and search for "external upgrades"

How can I smooth out my idle?.
use search again and search for "EGR" or "Throttle body cleaning"

all the answers you are looking for are here somewhere! hope that helped.

LacSeville,

What's the secret for splitting quotes the way you did above. I have tried before but couldn't figure it out. Thanks, BigRed.

LacSeville,

What's the secret for splitting quotes the way you did above. I have tried before but couldn't figure it out. Thanks, BigRed.

when you push the quote button, you get something like "
" and then after the message you get "
" , well for every new topic in a message you want to address, you have to copy and paste "
" before the start. where you want the quote to split, you have to copy and paste "
" . that will end the quote. then type your message and it will not be quoted. to address another part of the quote, simply insert "
" and to end put "
"

i don't know if you understand that...i hope so, but let me know!
